Mother’s Day weekend special hog slaughter hours
If you need a hog slaughtered for Mother’s Day weekend, slaughter will be done on May 10th for pickup on the 18th between 3PM-6PM. Must leave a deposit ASAP.
Eid al-Adha 2016 coming September 12-13th
In the United States, Eid al-Adha or “Eids” (Feast of the Sacrifice) will be here the evening of September 12, and ends the evening of September 13. Burks Farm provides slaughtering/sacrificial services in the customary Muslim traditions.
Lowered prices on pigs for pickin’ or freezin’
As of April 9, our price has dropped to $1.35lb (plus slaughter fee) for pigs for pickings, 70-195lb. Top hogs for the freezer are $1.20 (plus slaughter fee) .

Pigs Needed, 100-175 lbs live weight
Trying to keep up with a projected increase in demand this spring, Burks Farm is looking for a couple good suppliers of live pigs / hogs.
Candidates must be able to supply pigs that are:
- between 100-175 lbs (live weight)
- very healthy
- free of parasites, lice
